While waiting for Ped to recover from Malaria I took a trip to Chengdu, China to attend the annual Asia for Animals Conference, hosted this year by Animals Asia Foundation (AAF). This was my first chance to visit the amazing AAF sanctuary as well as to meet the equally amazing Jill Robinson. It was a great trip although my thoughts stayed with Xe Pian and the desire to return and get back to work.
