Gemma has come a long way since her days playing Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks. She is a well known model and character actress, appearing in drama series such as ‘The Bill’, ‘Black Book’ and ‘Waterloo Road’ as well as perfecting her acting craft with roles in movies like the independent film ‘Boogie Woogie’ the horror flick 13hrs , the romantic comedy ‘Sweetshop’ and the upcoming gangster epic ‘Baseline’
Gemma has also taken time to tread the boards in a number of theatres appearing in ‘Peter Pan’ at The Manchester Opera House, ‘This is How it Goes’ at the Kings Head Theatre in Islington and then in ‘Calendar Girls’ in the West End. Showing that she is woman of consummated versatility and professionalism Gemma has even starred in the Command and Conquer computer games series as Lt.Eva McKenna, managed to survive in the jungle full of creepy crawlies and celebrities and given singing performances on ‘Soapstar Superstar’ that many a professional singer would have been proud of.
