Mollie King (Singer - The Saturdays)
As a part of successful girl band ‘The Saturdays’ Mollie’s powerful voice and striking stage presence always leave audiences wanting more.
This well spoken songstress has enjoyed huge success with ‘The Saturdays’ and to those who may not know any better you might assumed that Mollie was always going to be a performer. In some ways this maybe true but back in her days at Surbiton High school in Kinsgton-upon-Thames, Mollie was a world class skier. She appeared in competitions for her school before (as the youngest one on the team) racing for Great Britain and later as part of the English Alpine squad.
In 2005 Mollie became part of the band ‘Fallen Angelz’ and the ski slopes loss was the music lover’s gain. When Fallen Angelz appeared on the X factor in 2007 they didn’t progress to the live shows but the experience did thrust Mollie into the public consciousness and she stood out as the most accomplished singers in the group and soon after she joined the newly formed girl group ‘The Saturdays’.
The rest they say is history and Mollie’s career has gone from strength to strength. Playing sell out tours, taking part in a televised ghost hunt, appearing in teen drama Hollyoaks, and being part of a fly in the wall documentary following a day in the life of The Saturdays.
