"I don’t like to think of any animals being used purely for entertainment and would hate to see a dancing bear, as that is cruelty. I love Pandas though and it’s upsetting to think that there are so few left in the world but hopefully if we all lend our support then we can have a positive impact! It’s inhumane how some of these other species of bear are treated – I hope we can help bring an end to this"
Una Healy (Singer - The Saturdays)
This feisty Irish Singer/Songwriter is best known as being one fifth of the successful girl band ‘The Saturdays’. She is also a talented guitarist, having played with many musicians back in her native Ireland. Largely unknown she was a champion swimmer, overcoming a childhood trauma of nearly drowning.
If things had been different we could have seen Una in the classroom, inspiring children’s education through teaching since this was her previous ambition, but she soon found that music was her calling and as part of her current band she has performed to critical acclaim worldwide and has a huge following of loyal fans.
Una has also many a number of appearances in T.V dramas and soaps including ‘Hollyoaks, Later and a BBC production called Myths.
With her drive to succeed and affable personality Una Healy is sure to be a name that is around for many years to come.
