We are raising funds to contribute to the purchase of a protected habitat in Kanatake India in partnership with Wildlife SOS India.
This land is now in private hands but Hauser Bears and Wildlife SOS are aiming to establish it as a habitat protection area, as it is home to bears, leopards and the extremely endangered pangolin. It is a beautiful area and would create an ideal wild sanctuary for bears in their natural habitat and their ecosystem. It is currently severely under threat from illegal mining and quarrying as well as logging and hunting.
