We are raising funds towards the purchase of bear housing for Animals Asia's sanctuary in Chengdu. The bear dens will be equipped with semi natural enclosures, designed to challenge and stimulate the animals in the most natural way possible. The housing accommodation called a double den will welcome between 30 and 42 bears, rescued from farms in Asia. This will be their home where they will live lives in the best possible facilities equipped with climbing structures and swimming ponds, and under the best possible supervision, with careful enrichment and world class veterinarian care. We are raising funds to contribute to the purchase of a protected habitat in Kanatake India in partnership with Wildlife SOS India. This land is now in private hands but Hauser Bears and Wildlife SOS are aiming to establish it as a habitat protection area, as it is home to bears, leopards and the extremely endangered pangolin. It is a beautiful area and would create an ideal wild sanctuary for bears in their natural habitat and their ecosystem. It is currently severely under threat from illegal mining and quarrying as well as logging and hunting. By purchasing our Valley gift box, you are helping us make this a reality.
